Newb question alert. The fuck is eastrook? Eastrook is a mountain on the northern side of the mantis valley. Something like 6 rooms straight up to reach the summit, which is 2 rooms, east-west. Each room has a weird stone slab in it that other people might be able to jump in and explain, because I have no idea what they do. You also get echoes while you're up there about the winds trying to push you off the top of the mountain. I have no idea if this could actually happen, because the only time I've been up there was with a flying whiran.

My PC was Whiran summoned from the Tuluki Arena to the thornlands. It was windwalled and 10+ guardians were stacked in there. Yes, the range was ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure you can't summon someone from the Tuluk Arena to the silt sea, or from the Blackwing part of the tablelands to the Salt Flats, or Allanak to the Canyon of Wastes. It's definitely a broad range but the range does have limits. I might be wrong about that but my experiments with it indicates no, as of around a year ago.

I've played several whirans over the past decade. Summon was indeed very OP, and I definitely caused numerous PC's to die from using it. Some died with RP, some I just didn't like because they looked at me wrong in the Gaj. The only failed attempt I can remember was when I tried to summon a Nilazi. Bitch had holed herself up somewhere and used some magick to block my summon attempt.
The mountain top of eastrook was always a mystery to me. I never wished up to ask for help, but often times would stay at the top of the summit for long periods of time. Certain parts of the game world seemed to increase my mana regen, and eastrook was one of them. I also found the grasslands east of tuluk did the same thing, but there were always fucking hunters around.
