Go to your local MUSH, check out the wiki with the character pictures. At least MUD players can describe deformity and stuff even if they are buff or curvy they might have scars or a missing arm or sun bleached hair or something. MUSHes use "played by" which they use a picture for. Given the majority of pictures of people are 'good' or 'sexy' or 'attractive' you can imagine the grit factor on any game regardless of theme going down. Why do I bring it up? Armageddon and MUDs and RPI are not the epicenter of text smut. Not only the pictures... read the descs listed on the Arx page or in wikis of mush anywhere. 90% are attractive in some way, and without metrics i'd wager 50% of the players engage sexual scenes. Sindome did a census once i think?

The pictures on Arx are very funny, especially when it's like a picture of Lara Croft or something. I don't know, just seem silly.

Smut is more of a thing in MUSHes too because players can write out scenes in multiple paragraphs and in Arm there are character limits for emotes. Arm isn't the best place for mudsex

No one is going to cause a fuss about it, but horny Arm boomers using "exotic" terms to describe darker skinned people is the equivalent to using the term jungle fever. Being ignorant on a subject and calling it "broad and neutral" is wrong, you just aren't aware of it, plenty of writing by creative fiction people on why its a faux pa to use that language. Feel free to look for yourself or ask for more citations: www.nytimes.com/2017/03/26/us/cringeworthyraceterms.html

I likewise find it silly to eschew food descriptors for skin. Burnt Copper, Burnt Chocolate, Burnt Caramel, Mocha toned, Desert toned. It's an adjective. None of them are as problematic as something like 'mulatto'.

The horny, ribbed-fingered man.
He's just a mutant honest!

Who the describes a dark skinned person as exotic in a desert setting? That's ridiculous... but while we're at on ridiculous, boomers are 54-72 years old. Using the term "horny arm boomer" to describe the people rping sticking their grisly sausage into her skeet pie isn't likely accurate at all for arm's demographic since the majority of armageddon players aren't this old.

Not understanding the colloquial use of boomer these days is pretty boomer.
Also implying a desert setting is "exotic" sort of plays your whole hand. No one who is part of an ethnic group would consider themselves exotic, the term itself implies the outside is looking in. Exotic terms are playing into the horniness (why it was mentioned in the first place) and is why you see them to advertise pornography. Not sure why that was latched onto more than anything else though, much like the other points brought up: if you don't care you don't care. Can't blame people for just opening up thesaurus to create variety either, like I mentioned.
Not really happy to see the old orgy lady say more or less "its deemed offensive by many people from the group I'm fantasy-representing so I wish to push it into the game more" but what are you going to do.
Maybe in turn my next character will be someone whose boobs touch the floor when I'm standing.

And make a redhead - a lot of people are attracted to redheads just because of how genetically uncommon they are. This has been Character Makeover Tips with Mehtastic. You know who’s a redhead? Nyr.
