I didn't notice any particular increase in mudsex over the years. I don't go for it myself, and have always been glad that it's easily avoided and not very in your face. I've seen worse on other RPIs--Arm, at least, never inflicted upon me the sight of people fucking openly in a tavern. People keep it to themselves enough that it has never been an annoyance to me, and noone has ever pestered me for it. If someone tries to make a move, I just show no interest whatsoever and they've always taken the hint. If anyone thinks there's too much mudsex in the game, I suspect they care too much about what other players do in private. It has never been something I had to go out of my way to avoid. The level of smut does not exceed what feels suitable for the setting, which is inherently pretty raunchy.

That said, I remember an RPT years ago (like 10-12 years or something) when an animated NPC noble made a speech in public and an animated slave NPC - a young girl described distinctly to appear in the very beginning of puberty - was blowing the lord in plain sight while he was speaking. Like "this lord is so decadent he just has a slave girl with him at all times who blows him constantly" kind of thing. I recall a lot of controversy about that and people wishing up to complain. I wonder which imm was behind that. It was a bit over the top.

And to add to this, it's worth noting that Armageddon is far from the only roleplaying MUD that experiences the phenomenon OP described. Practically every roleplaying MUD has it, because people like to play something they're not, and "supermodel/bodybuilder appearances", for lack of a better term, are very rare.

The outrageously curvy woman's description is literally physically impossible - she neither has arms nor stumps where they used to be, for example, and her waistline being about half of a typical woman's would make her look like a literal hourglass rather than someone with an hourglass figure. But we know what society idealizes as the epitome of attractiveness, and 99.9% of people don't clear that bar, but a good chunk of those people like to imagine what it would be like if they could. And I'm not saying that to shame anyone - it's fine to think that way, as long as it's not an unhealthy obsession that leads to self-harm.

This is probably the only piece of advice I'll ever provide to an Armageddon player that actually involves playing Armageddon. Do you want to make a realistically attractive Armageddon character? Research how people look when they do physical labor all their life. Their musculature looks vastly different from a bodybuilder's or a supermodel's, but there is a natural attractiveness to them. Pick facial features that are commonly associated with what you find attractive personally, if anything. And make a redhead - a lot of people are attracted to redheads just because of how genetically uncommon they are. This has been Character Makeover Tips with Mehtastic.

Pretty much. What is a MUD, other than some kind of fantasy one way or another? It's not endemic to Arm, in fact I'd actually say that the backbone of lore supporting sex and sexuality in Zalanthas never really makes such scenarios jarring to me if that makes sense.
