All of the 'evidence' presented can be falsified, and the procedures needed to verify information pertaining to the alleged incident, would require a gross violation of multiple parties privacy, as well as a tier of talent far above what the anti/pro arm community is capable of producing, even if either 'side' could be considered credible enough to present it in an unbiased fashion. Neither side is, imo.

Ultimately, nobody has "evidence", just some conjecture based upon assumption that what they 'think' is right, because it suits their narrative.

And I rather doubt, anyone here has either the skills, or the pocket book, to afford someone with the skills, to ever clear the air on the matter... which, I'd assume, makes it a raging success, no? Game successfully smeared, staff successfully smeared, people both for and against the state of the game have and continue, to make asses of themselves over it, and nobody is really left holding the bag. Even the op, ultimately, probably wouldn't have been banned, had he not unloaded on staff over this hot mess of a topic.

Lots of drama, lots of bad feels all around, all of it very public, and "kait" just disappears into the digital ether, without any measured of accountability, either way.

We have nothing to do with it. Staff have never cared what the players think about certain staff. Most of them burn out and leave, players have never really had anything to do with staff leaving the game. If you believe that you're naive.

debating whether or not arm staff have a literal obligation to remove people from staff is a bizarre thought process, particularly given that no one is claiming that they do and everyone seems aware of this.

they're free to keep shalooonsh on staff but at the same time i have no pity when dudes like that get threads like this, people returning nastiness to them (e.g. nile on nessalin), and so forth.

i said in the other thread before, even entertaining the idea that the whole thing is a conspiracy theory to "bring down" shalooonsh or whatever x-files theory qwerty has, people like that don't just have someone develop a hatred out of them out of nowhere and for no good reason.

If their actions got them removed that's different. Nergal was apparently wholesale banning people for just posting here which is absurd. That is what got him removed (if he even was?), not player backlash.

The highest echelons of staff have never put any stock in player concerns about staff. Sanvean perhaps did she would at least listen and try to moderate and be a mediator of sorts but at the end of the day that staff member isn't going anywhere because they insulted you, shit on you, or otherwise. A "staff complaint" will never result in the staff member being removed, perhaps talked to but removal forget it. I contend that 99% of staff leaving is because they got tired of the bullshit and verbal abuse they contend with on a daily basis in the request tool.
