It actually seems like the admin half shifts full responsibility of being a turd away from this Shaloonsh partially to the players...
Call the problem out directly...poke Shaloonsh in the eye for being a dick, and maybe, just maybe, they'll stop...for a little while at least.
Don't bring Veselka into "being part of the problem."

Well. Veselka deserved getting thwapped. He was getting insulting in his responses. The thread shouldn't have been closed though. That part makes no sense. Only because two people went at it, doesnt mean the thread should end.

"He started it" is a defense you grow out of in grade school, though, and that's besides the point of the thread. This is, I think, the first time one staff member publicly chewed out another staff member for inappropriate behavior, and I hope to see more action rather than words.
Shalooonsh was completely responsible for lowering the level of discourse in the thread, and is at least partly responsible for shitting up the GDB in general. He shouldn't just be chastised by an Admin, he should be barred from posting on the GDB or thrown off the staff team.
The thread of course shouldn't have been locked, but we already know how liberally the staff use the lock button.

Regarding the Malifaxis/Bebop thing, I don't know what the current status of their relationship is. They used to be together, they might still be, I don't know and don't care to know. Regardless, he used his status as a staff member to white-knight for a player and ultimately weakened her fairly reasonable position with his poor behavior. |

He needs to be chewed out a lot more than that, and for the things he's done that aren't public. He's easily the weakest link on the staff team. Looking at their current roster, I'm glad Seidhr and Akariel are gone. It would do more good than harm to send Shalooonsh packing next. |

Seidhr was brusque but as far as I know, he never actively did anything against me.
Akariel actually tried to clean up Shalooonsh's mess and helped me on more than one occasion.
Shalooonsh is power hungry and not emotionally stable. He lacks the emotional maturity and professionalism to be staff on this game. For reference, you may see the long-ass log I posted of the conversation where I attempted to put the cart back up on its wheels with Greedy One. Witness Akariel's attempts to help, Shabago's minimal attempts to rein Shalooonsh in, and the ultimate non-resolved debacle.
But I feel like calling out Shalooonsh here is just going to cause staff to link arms and form a human shield in front of him rather than inspire change.

I mean, if criticism of Shalooonsh here causes staff to decide not to do the right thing and get rid of the manchild from their staff team, then they're as emotionally immature and unprofessional as he is.
