idk if the current tattoo artist is really viable for marking members, unless something's changed
i seem to remember getting access to the guild's nenyuk account before getting access to the ink, lol

Are you talking about the one on the rooftops, or the one in the pawnhouse?
I think you should get access to pawnhouse starting from rank 2. While the bank account access is a job, not a rank. Like recruiter, so you can get access to that at lowest rank, even before having access to the back room. If that's what the staff overseeing the clan decides needs to be done.
Rank is very ambiguous in the guild.

Tattoos would make much more sense. Easily concealable or resealable as necessary. They really should have a tattoo NPC in the rinth. They have two that I'm aware of. One available to everyone and one available up in the Guild office above the pawnshop (which nobody ever seems to have access to anymore). As Butcher Brons I put this thing in place where once you'd killed for the Guild you could be taken to the office and receive a special tattoo either on your hands or someplace else. It meant literally that you'd shed blood for the Guild and your name had been 'entered into the books'. I told everyone that someone somewhere high up in the Guild was literate and maintained a registry. Once your name went into the books, it meant that no matter what, your children and family were always taken care of by the Guild. That seemed to me to be the sort of thing that a half-starved Rinther would covet ... both a legacy in being remembered but also knowing that, even if they died in the service to the Guild, their family wouldn't ever starve. EDIT: Under my time in the Guild we did it twice. It was a big ceremony both times with all the people involved. Sort of to make it feel like the Guild was more than just the people hanging out in the Folley. All player driven ... no staff involvement.

Heeeey. Delerak. Dont you want to app for a guild boss sponsored role? You know you waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant to. I've got better shit to do with my time than to grovel for some stupid role that I won't get anyway because of my past. Sponsored roles are shit.

There are sponsored roles that make sense. Templar or noble? You can't work your way into those spots.
But the Byn or the Guild or the Garrison ... I expect someone to rise up from the ranks. I show no respect to a sponsored role in that. Though there are exceptions I'd make. Like someone who has proven leadership qualities getting an invite to come rebuild the broken system. I don't know that it ever happens in such a way.
