i had a lot higher expectations of OP's smacktalk since he registered with a note to me that said (paraphrasing): 'here to rip on nerds and losers, dont worry you're safe J.Carter'.

Well in that case I'll make some commentary on Polain ...
He wasn't bad. He was a decent, greedy dwarf. He managed to organize and get some places, though clearly with the support of the Templars. He plotted and schemed mostly successfully.
But he forgot he was a dwarf, which means he's sub-human, which means he'll never be a power in Allanak.
