Gemmers are people too, and they have feelings. If you play that and do not obsess yourself with rping a super safe character, you can become something more than a vivaduan smurf.
In the old times when true players were around it was fun. Does anyone remember Genghiz's Krathi who demonfired a commoner in a gaj brawl over a small tension? And he actually survived it.

Mostly all I've seen of gemmers is them trying to act tough in the Gaj when they crave interaction and then retreating to their temples to spamcast some more.
A lot of them seem to go to work for Oash and they've always got tons of heramide leaves to sell/trade you. That's the extent of my interation.

I've heard that the spamcasting is pretty limited these past couple of years, with the heavily abbreviated spell lists and the shallow spell trees. |

Recently, spell trees of all mages were tweaked and extended, supposedly significantly. Obviously there is no info about just what anyone got, or if they branch the same ways as before.

As of yet I've never seen any info on any of the new spell trees listed here. It's just about the only secret that remains undisclosed.
