It's how it happens. If someone took the lead (or was left unchallenged for a long period) and began driving an organization within certain policies, mindsets, and sets of behavior. When all that proves to be not only 'not helpful', but actually destructive. To a point where even those who are less energetic step up and force whomever took that lead to go a full 180, to go back on the already hardened modes of operation, statements, promises, and threats. Then whomever was in lead has a choice. Either completely backtrack on everything they said, demanded, stated, threatened, or ... resign. Nobody forces them to. But it happens nonetheless. And usually in those things, there is a silent nod, an acquiescence that not everything that was done was completely crap, and then the organization moves on without that person. It happens. It happened. It will happen again. In pretty much any group, or organization that is over 20 years old. Nobody kicked out Bhag either, or Halaster. It was their behavior that was decided against, the actual choice to leave was entirely theirs.
And of course, like proper adults instead of heckling like a bunch of baboons eager to grind someone into dust, the organization moves on, trying to find policies, mindsets, and sets of behavior that are more constructive. I imagine anyone who have grown beyond puberty have felt some variation of similar group dynamics. Personally, to read that Staff have "circled the wagons", from Adhira's posts is to prove yourself so utterly biased, that reason and logic falls by the wayside. Somehow, I do not think this is so. In which case, it's basic baboon behavior. Which is rather is tiresome. If I understand correctly, Nergal's got hassled some after all of this. That whole story about some people calling him non stop, to a point of police being called? I honestly do not want to step into 'that' pile of shit.

First time I read about it was these forums ironically. I'm on the phone, too clunky to do searches. Some other people outside this forum have mentioned it as well. I think it was somewhere on reddit.

I think it was somewhere on reddit. lmao, are you talking about this post? you do realize that the responder had no way of knowing who King Bronn was (and no, it's probably not nergal) and was just hazing them, right? that was an account which people were literally accusing of being an undercover troll who was trying to annoy people by promoting Arm too much. |

I could swear there was another conversation where Bronn mentioned he was Nergal. It was on that forum where he didnt create an account, but kept posting as a guest.
I might be way off. Or at least incapable of doing proper searches right now. Get back to this in the evening.

Does anyone know how to get to TMC archived forums? All the links I normally use lead to the new one.
My googling cant even unearth the reddit pos.
I'll try to pm him on TMS.

That guy was definitely Nergal. I told my friend I suspected that it was based on his posts across different platforms, and my friend PM'd the guy accusing him of being Nergal. Within a day or two every single one of Bronn's accounts that I had been looking at on all these different sites was simultaneously deleted. If the friend I'm talking about wants to come forward and corroborate, he can.

I'm not sure that's true. I dont think he ever created an account on TMC, but he created one on TMS. He still has one on TMS, but TMC he posted as guest. Somehow, I dont think he ever actually actively hid that he was Nergal. But now I am not too completely certain. I remember reading about it, but now I cant pull it up. Doubt anyone needs to 'accuse' him of anything, they could have just asked.

What would you have me do? You keep saying 'my peers'. My peers are everyone who play this game. Including that small percentage of these forums. The person who leaked the code to mehtastic is also my peer. He too is likely be the one who did all this shit to Noted Liar Noted Liar Nergal. He's clearly not above leaking personal information of staff afterall. People on internet are toxic. People who play muds are toxic. You can 'manage' it, but truth of the matter is that mud community is rampant with people who have mental irregularities. Not Arm community, but the community of 'all' Muds. Some better. Some worse. At least I attempt to encourage some adequate attempt of critical thinking to fountains of negativity. But some people are just generaly asshole. I cannot help that. I cannot control it. And sometimes it's hard to take people apart from reasonable, to unreasonable. You're asking what is wrong with me, but your forums facilitates and encourages people like that.
