I am waiting for the right moment to shit into a plot, when several PC's are also present to prevent a possible resurrection.
People are suddenly scarce as of late, but I will keep developing two of these fake accounts. My goal is to kill and avoid a staff ban by faking the innocent, so those characters survive to kill more and fuck the game up further. May they die, new accounts will come.

I don't believe you when all staff has to do is whois all active accounts for connections coming from a VPS because all VPNs are just reselling VPS bandwidth, weed out all established accounts connecting from a VPS then there's your three guys. The only plausible explanation for you to be telling the truth is that staff just don't give a shit which is possible.

That's how they caught the guy who emailed in the bomb threat to MIT.
He used TOR from a college connection. They looked at all the TOR connections on campus at the time of the email, which was only about 12, and then they used old fashioned gumshoe methods to interview those 12, and the culprit cracked.
You've given them enough info to stop it if they wanted to, but I think they've decided you're no more a menace to their precious plots than a random roaming spider outside the gates.

I dont really think anyone is doing what this dude says he is doing. At least to such an organized amount. He's just trolling.

Also, I bet this dude's conspiracy is just projection because he perceived the person he PKed to be part of a conspiracy with staff. My guess is that he's trying to create a second account after the first got banned, but by the time he actually gets a character he's going to be over his tantrum, which is why the next kill will never happen. Waiting for a plot lmao

They could do that by changing the ancient and ridiculously stingy resurrection rules to include blatant griefing, like walking into a tavern and wordlessly slaughtering a random stranger for no reason. It's pretty fucking easy to tell what's a justified IC action and what's simply an attack on the game, no matter how much staff may cling to the slippery slope fallacy. No, Seidhr, players are not going to file for resurrection every time they die just because they heard of a guy who got one after a multiplaying griefer landed a kill--unless, perhaps, you refuse to acknowledge that that's even going on and thus create that grey area yourself. There's so much staff could do if they cared. When there's a period of time where a known griefer is trolling the game, simply send out an announcement about it and ask people not to make funeral arrangements when they see a character get grief-PKed. They have this weird idea that in-game actions are so supremely sacred that letting griefers shit on the game is a small price to pay in exchange for not having to ask players to briefly ignore that dead body while they check the logs and retcon it. Apparently it's better to avoid that miniscule lapse in immersion than it is to discourage extreme griefing. There's fifteen staff members. Fifteen fucking people supposedly overseeing this game. Online staff get an alert every time a player attacks someone, including the room name. How hard can it be to come and take a quick look when you see an alert for an attack in a tavern? And if you see that it's some account's first character and they haven't popped up on the radar before, as opposed to, say, a known professional assassin carrying out a hit, you briefly investigate after asking any players in the room to hold their reactions for a moment. The solution is so fucking simple, but they won't do it because fuck the playerbase. I'm skeptical that staff even bothered to place those soldiers outside the Gaj. Odds are it was a templar doing staff's job of protecting the game. |
