Besides the Nilazi thing that hit the Labyrinth during the pseudo end times, there was a Kadian family member who was a vampire a long, long time ago. Maybe halaster had something to do with it - been a long time.

There were vampire and ghoul type monsters in Undertuluk, near the bottom, but that has also been quite some time.

There was a nakki templar or noble (can't remember which) around 1996 or so who became a vampire. The player of that character got brought onto staff shortly thereafter, as I recall.

SInce they made witches kind of lame, the game really needs scarier shit than some raiders and Staff PCs.

Since no matter how much work you put into the game your self. They can ruin it all with 0 explanation. As most people on this board have experienced.

This is the only way I can see new-witches as a net positive. If they amp up the number of supernatural things in the corners and far-away parts of the world, the contrast between what players can do and what lies out in the vast unknown could be pretty interesting. Elementals prowling the sands, vampires, were-beasts, kenku, demons, ghosts, spectres, etc. But not all over. Only in select pockets of wilderness.
It could add some mystery and danger to being outside the cities, and make raiders/wilderness types that much more badass.

The last thing Armageddon needs is players taking their Twilight fantasy RP from Shangrila to Armageddon.
I approve.

There was a whole plot with Quick, who was a vampire, and the Guild under Gin becoming the servants of this Vampire demon motherfucker the staff animated. I remember some blood ritual shit deep in 'Naks sewers. It was pretty insane.
