I know it's been changed for some time so that the guards won't notice a small amount of spice. What's the threshold of spice to become wanted when entering Allanak? How much is safe?

No clue.
From what I've gathered they grab you at the gates for about the same amount they would a water skin?
IE:
Throw your shit in an aba, throw it in a bag, throw it in your backpack and that should let you get in like...less than 10 stones amount.

I think I tested this a bit once and found that it was under 100 grains.

100 grains seems high, if I had to guess I'd say the limit was somewhere around 8-9 grains, or three pinches (how many pinches are in a knot?).

In a small bag, closed, inside your backpack.
It can't be in just one container.
