If you somehow join the Atrium, or House Fale: that would be the perfect time to suicide your character in my opinion. some obscure, stupid thing that will never ever, ever be relevant to a plot, or indeed, will ever be allowed for a PC to meaningfully explore, like architecture, taxation or slavery. That's a pretty high barrier you're setting there, man. Whew. |

Even staff will race to wipe your ass from existence if you attempt... or give you shitty account notes, but fuck 'em, we got proxies. I don't play anymore, I got what I needed, social experiments mostly complete, I don't have a taste for it anymore.

My point was that all of the Tuluki houses were centered around high concepts (architecture, taxation, etc), that in practice, no Tuluki noble PC would ever have a chance to actually engage with. Has anyone ever tried to design a building in armageddon? I thought so. That said, there's pretty much only two houses in the entire game that get to play according to their docs. Oash, which is probably the only clan on the grid which is 100% supported. And to a very, very small extent, Tor, because they at least sorta have the academy. Even if they're usually shut out of the militia, which they're supposed to dominate. Borsail are pretty much just your generic noble. And Fale is your generic faggot. |

Before they shut the whole place down, Lord Mesmer Dasari was working on rebuilding the cotton fields and giving tasks to the poorer warren's PCs to gather blocky hunks of stone for cash, damn, did we pounce on that shit. Shame it never panned out, Mesmer was a hell of a dude, even if he did murder one of my characters. Although I suppose it was justified, my PC was crazy and worked for Lord Mesmer and was running around making a scene so was ordered to eat a black tablet, and, DING. Alas, poor String. Still, one of the PKs of my PC I take few issues with, as, in hindsight, I could immediately see what the issue was.

Further, there've been new additions to the Nakki Kadian compound, among other things. Yes, some players, even ones not in sponsored roles, with enough effort, are able to get things built, it may not be a big thing and may require a lot of planning and forthought, but my only point is, it can be done.
EDIT: You may have to communicate with staff via character reports, attaching some important logs, which may turn some away because we all know how communication with staff can suddenly turn to shit.
