There's a very easy way an arm staffer (or anyone) could get the IP of many a visitor; no hacking necessary. It would be tempting to do and post on the GDB just to show that even the elitists are probably using the site. If nothing else, it shows there's a lot of traffic here. That's not really news, or even a security risk (safety in numbers) for that matter. This method would not show which IP belongs to which user here.

Any guesses?
