I'm only aware of a few:
translucent green: cures terradin
grainy yellow: cures effects of the translucent green (it makes you hallucinate, apparently?)
red tablet: cures bloodburn (from cilops and what else?)
small yellow: cures grishen

Really, those are the only four you generally need. There are other tablets out there, that cure something rarer, like salt worms farting on your face, but I don't remember if thats blue or purple.
Black tablets caused you to get KO'd real quick. Edible heramide, basically.

translucent green causes skellebain poison. It 'cures' other poisons because the poison code is written to support being afflicted with only one poison at a time iirc. Since poisoning yourself with skellebain is easier than hanging onto every single cure and remembering what color does what, people just adopted it as a cure. I'm not sure if this ever got fixed or not; I thought it did but I could be mistaken.
