I was on the Boxer. And yeah, grunts just work out and eat on the ship. I was in helo company so we were frequently flying out for missions. I was also the martial arts instructor so I spent at least 3 hours a day annoying sailors by taking up their work space.

Corpsman nice. Mad respect. Aw, thanks hon. I'd like to think I did some good while I was in.  Been out for a while now, and did my darndest to run from medicine (particularly trauma), but life keeps trying to get me to circle back to it. I'm in a much better headspace now than when I got out, so it just might happen that way, too. |
