You can make a sticky black globule with two items that have an orange tint. Bakari cones, figori leaves and flowers, maybe other things. These brew into those globules, no vial needed. If you eat one of these globules, you -will- be perrained. You have to manually eat it though. Last time I checked.
The black vials are Heramide if you drink them, same as the tablets. I've never been able to poison a drink by pouring it into a cup or anything and I tried a couple times. It might be possible with a small percentage of success but I haven't verified it myself.

eating shit (literally) drinking cleaning fluid Wait, so can someone with the poison skill pick up shit and/or cleaning fluid and quietly poison people's drinks with it? Now there's a dwarf focus I gotta try out.

Due to new tuluk shit, you may not be able to get to the chasm for kzul berries. Is there anywhere else in the world that you can obtain terradin?

They grow in the grey forest too, I believe. Somewhere. Other than that, Iunno. Threaten a Tuluki breed to go pick them?

So grey forest and the chasm. Anywhere else?
Also, what do kryl perraine glands and wezer perraine glands look like?

Which one is which for purple? I've heard of octagonal and faceted purple.
I was also under the believe that the purpose of the black globule was that it was also a cure and had a high percent chance to do something bad, which I thought was Heramide (and the curing part was perraine). I've been wanting to make a Ranger so this is awesome info!

Kyrl peraine glands are a jade-colored gland. No idea about wezer.
Black globule most definitely is peraine, no clue if it cures anything. I have eaten it enough times and used it enough for shits and giggles to verify it's 100% effective too.
Oh also, fat black puffballs, when eaten, will make people hallucinate. This is a shitload of fun if you can convince someone it's just a normal mushroom/fungus that tastes good. Then lock the door and laugh at them for a while in a villainous monologue before you kill them.

How hard is it to poison a weapon as a ranger at their max cap? How hard is it to poison a weapon as a assassin at their max cap? Does agility factor into this? Steady hand type stuff? Does it matter what weapon it is? Are some easier? Does it matter what kind of poison? Are some harder to apply? Gloves off, gloves on? Does that matter? Are there any items which make it easier? Is food and water always an auto-succeed to apply?

I've never failed, but I've only had reason to do it a few times in many years and always with maxed skill.

Every skill has a stat that applies a bonus to it. It seems that way anyway. Agility helps skinning for example.
I'd guess that it's wisdom or agility.
Some items do give a bonus to poisoning, and it's usually in the weapon's description.
As a side note, poisoning is one of the fastest skills to raise.

I've found that when I'm -picking- the poison leaves off of the plant, it's smart to wear leather gloves.
Also, there are some weapons that you can't poison. I don't believe you can poison swords, axes, or clubs.
