Following an interesting discussion on our Mumble channel, I looked through my old crafting documents and some of the crafting threads in this forum.
While our catalog of crafting ingredients and recipes is incomplete at best, it appears as though several objects obtainable through skinning, foraging... (such as the moss-green agate or certain animal parts) serve no use and are listed in no crafting trees.
I'm curious as to the number of objects such as these and would like to hear concrete examples. If I remember correctly, finding recipes takes enough time as is - knowing a few of them might help those of us wanting to play a crafting sub-guild.
Edit.: Reading on, another example mentioned is the "sunstone" gem. Objects without any practical use in crafting that look like they should be able to be used seem like such frivolous additions to the code
