I've heard that mul rage is a coded thing. What exactly does this entail?

They get some buffs to their stats and attack anything in the room. I think if you sniff the black spice it makes the effect go away.

What causes it?
I've heard 'Tor Rage' referenced in game, too... is that a coded thing or are Tor's just hot headed, socially?

its unexpected.. no real warning signs.
There was a bad incident in the traders once. You can insta-kill sitting PCs

Are you sure there are no warning signs? I recall Ahmul suddenly putting up a lot of reasons to get out of the room for awhile and mass snorting tho all out of the sudden.

My only experience with mul rage was back when it was first coded, and pretty much getting into any fight was enough to trigger it. That being said, I was sitting down and weaponless and still killed everybody in that little cabin in front of mal krian while mul raged, not to mention I got down to -23 hp and was still fighting!!! He was a mul warrior, so it is possible that had something to do with it, as my mul sorc, mul assassin, and mul rangers never got hit with the mul rage thing.
P.S. It might sound fun to play a mul sorc. It is not. It sucked.
