A new large village or other outpost will be built and opened. My guess is that it will be on the east side of the map from Allanak, or one a newly discovered shore in the silt. It will be tribal, heavily focused on the GMH, and unable to pose a serious military threat to Allanak. Mages will be unwelcome there, but not killed if they are careful.
Several builders will be recruited to push this project to completion.

People will roll inked tulukis and start in luir's and/or redstorm in droves as they attempt to flee staff infested Allanak. Since allanak will be turned into a cluster fuck for staff and their pets, shitting on everyone else. If it isn't staff approved, don't bother, if your activities bother the immpets expect your character to be killed/stored and karma deducted into the negatives.
However...
Kurac a once proud and badass clan will more or less be turned into the police of the north, gaining almost mind bending powers over all (staff will just begin telling them who to kill and why). You do something in allanak not approved by staff before fleeing to luir's, expect a unit of kuraci to bring down staff justice on you. Expect much of the same in rinth too through the guild, as the staff tightens their grip on player fun and freedom.
Redstorm for the most part will be the last bastion of badassery, instead of receiving more love like better apartments or bank, it will either be destroyed or changes be made (taking over by allanak) so that staff can come down on anyone who breaks the mold of boring without their approval.
Cenyr is up in the air. If the staff aren't feeling lazy they could build it up as a place like redstorm with strong salarr or kadius presence. However since that requires work, and the staff have shut down tuluk specific to avoid doing such work, then chances are it will be closed or destroyed. I'm leaning towards destroyed because I figure the staff will hate to see people heading there more often in attempt to avoid dealing with their oppressive boring shit.

Staff copy/paste a game plot directly from something they saw in one of the latest game of thrones episodes, then applaud themselves for a job well done.

Staff already said they're building a new 'outpost' north of Luirs. Also, I agree with Luirs becoming terribad.

- North will be much more dangerous. There will be a lot of powerful NPC critters. - Finding coins with sid/salt will be much harder, as there will be a lot more raiders around. - At least one, maybe two clans will be found in Southlands Wilderness - Kurac will spend more time in Red Storm.

Several more vets out themselves on this board. The problem is that people will be afraid of being punished/marginalized/whatever in ArmageddonMUD if they post here. The thing is, is that people should be able to say whatever they want without fear of suffering consequences in-game. Smart people play this game, so they should be bright enough to realize that punishing people for having an opinion is bullshit. But, that's the way Armageddon is. That's the way it's always been, maybe: leadership through intimidation, quelling dissent, punishing people for seeing things different ways (ask Joshua Dinges), and just generally carrying on like a dictatorship towards people who don't bow down completely. People saw what happened to me when I tried to say something in public: they not only banned me, but they were huge assholes to me in public as they banned me - not even giving me time or space to defend myself. So, hence coming to this board. There are lots of players old and new who disagree with the way things are going, but they probably won't say anything in public because they are too scared of their gameplay being influenced because of how they feel - and the fact that they vocalized how they feel in public. Basically, dissent or criticisms are dealt with through bullying, blackballing, and treating people like shit... And lots of people don't want to risk rocking the boat because they are ACUTELY aware of this. It's not like it's some big secret, but on the other hand, that doesn't make this type of behavior proper.

tuluk will become "the enemy" as tuluki soldier mobs become more frequently seen in the north and south. their leader? An evil ginger bastard, naturally.

Nyr makes a surprising staff announcement on the general discussion board wherein he unveils a new title indicating the supreme status of but one staff, a position of which they will retain until they themselves deem otherwise. As the newfangled "Supreme Pontiff", Overlord Nyr will proceed to grace the playerbase with myriad unwanted changes and "additions", arbitrarily adding and/or outright retconning documentation with the aim of streamlining...something. Detractors will be summarily banned from the GDB and threatened with storage of their character and reduction in karma -- no exceptions.
Sometime thereafter, Nyr will be forced to renege on his past "additions" to the game, though he will be careful so as to direct blame at the playerbase, despite the fact they wield no real power.
