ihave been playing forgottenkingdoms mud lately it is a pretty good mud rendition of d&d 3.5ed. the thieves get gimped hardcore but it has some limited PK and death consequences that sound as if they may lead to permadeath under the right conditions (having no favor from gods) and once I ran into a high level necromancer and had a good time RPing with him as my goodly newb elf. it has a ripoff of armas karma system called kismet but it rewards you for time played and eventually I want to make an orc or goblin or drow, should be fun, but even my noob wizard is fun to play. if anyone wants to join me here you will find a welcoming environment.
