I'm wondering if repeatedly suiciding your characters for rerolls draws the ire of the staff in a negative way, and if so, how to kill yourself in the most subtle and efficient way possible.
Any ideas, oh twinks of Arm?

If you're in the north, hunting carru or being to close to Grey Forest Kryl is pretty easy way to die. You could also file a request complaining about how unfair your death was as a smokescreen. If you're in the south, going to red storm to buy spice or sell gear means easy death to beetles.
You could also linkdead near a beetle or carru and come back 5 min later claiming your net dropped.

I don't think they really care.

They pretty much acknowledged that there's a flaw with with current chargen system and they really can't fix it. I don't think they're going to give you visible account notes that you keep suiciding and rerolling characters. Though it's debatable what a viable character actually is, you probably wouldn't see the note an staffer made if they noticed you were doing it.

I tend to go by what was visible on SOI: - Staff sees when you die, and from what. Some causes are ambiguous. - Staff sees when you attack an NPC. Animals may be excluded; they weren't on SOI. - Staff sees when you submit a new PC, and if you do so a minute after dying, it's very blatant.
Try not to die to something very obvious like attacking half-giant soldiers or some shit. Wading into the silt sea is probably also quite obvious. Deaths to falling, wildlife, poison etc. should be relatively safe. You can also walk into the desert and cut link, you'll die of thirst within like 12 hours.
Keep the following in mind:
If you have no karma, there's a grace period of like one or two hours where your character respawns. This makes it really hard to suicide immediately as you would have to do it twice in succession.
If your hp is in the negative, you can type 'quit die' to give up and die. I think this registers as 'Soandso gave up on life.' or something in your notes, which is a bit difficult to investigate in case someone looks through your files.
I have suicided dozens upon dozens upon dozens of characters and never been contacted by staff about it until one time when I hid my newbie cash in some kind of hidden in-room container. It's possible that staff is aware of how much people suicide and don't care as long as they don't cheat by muling coins across multiple characters.
The best way to suicide is to log in and buy some newbie gear, go somewhere inconspicuous, cut link and stand there for like 12 hours. Then log back in and die in whatever way is most normal for the area. In Allanak, go salt grebbing and die to a scrab or mekillot, or head out west to play with tarantulas. In the 'rinth, get ganked by entering the Sandas building or something. In Red Storm, get eaten by a black beetle or walk into the mul alley. In Tuluk, proclaim your hatred of life in Tuluk and hang yourself from some wooden scaffolding. In Luir's, go get jumped by raptors or gith in the Red Desert, or die to gortoks on the way to Tuluk.
DO NOT: - Rent an apartment. There already aren't enough for everyone, especially in Red Storm. Don't interfere with gameplay, I'm pretty sure half of getting away with suicide is to make any potential witnesses go "well, he didn't bother anyone." - Die in a very obvious place, like the gates. Ideally don't leave a corpse anywhere that people will find it. - Store your money somewhere, or give it to anybody. - Do any sort of roleplaying prior to death. It's better to be completely unknown than try to play it off as a roleplayed death. If you start thinking and shit, someone's liable to come check out what you're doing. If you've never showed up on the radar, it's very unlikely.
Also, while dying with your newbie cash on you isn't a big deal, it's better not to. It kinda screws with the economy, and it makes it very obvious that you didn't intend to play the character if you went out "hunting" without gear. If you really don't want to buy shit, at least give your money to an NPC or bank it. Every time you die with 1k on you, you randomly hand someone what should amount to like a year's wages.
Staff, if you read this, fix your unspeakably retarded stat system and 98% of suicides will be avoided.

It's hard to suicide with a special app or extended subguild. Like... waiting six months for an approval to then roll shitty stats. It's.... uh.

They're wonky cause they don't operate like all the others best I can tell. Can't say more. Just play with them and you'll be learnedededed.
