heh, this topic has be covered loads. I'm maybe not getting it i think.
If I leave an area does this work?
>e (pushing past the peasants)
> north *limping heavily* <-- doesn't even say in the help what this looks like.
If so, what does it look like. When I do it I cant see it as I'm in another room unless I'm doing somthin wrong of course.
or
Why does it when i try us ^me all go wrong for example
The tall, muscular man stretches your arms. <-- reads my desc then it says your
>stand using ^me free hand to push up
You don't see any '^me' here to stand at.
maybe I'm not getting this table
Symbol Reference Target Sees
------ --------- -----------
~ (sdesc) you
! him/her you
% (sdesc)'s your
^ his/her your
# he/she you
& himself/herself yourself
= (sdesc)'s yours
+ his/hers yours
Looks simple enough but I'm sure it will be once it clicks in my head lol.
Is there any sure fired helpful ways, tips, examples that newbie people like me can get by on when entering rooms with PC's??
Thaknks
