Creepy as it is that I can answer it... roughly 80% of characters played in any given week are having mudsex. Just asked a valued source. There is disagreement with your numbers. Way lower. i think there may be some confusion because of the wording. @anaiah - am I correct in interpreting your quote to mean this? The other interpretation is 80% odf them are banging at any given time. which does seem pretty high. I mean i'd think players would start to chafe at some point. Or 4 out of 5 guys at the APM would have forearms like Popeye. |

Yeah, your interpretation is correct. I'm talking about in any given week, not at any given moment. Any given moment, it's more like 5-10% of people online.

Um... that one's something that I'm sure comes up from time to time, but not something I've seen, because usually if there's not an ldesc change, I still wound up leaving on seeing a distinctively sexual emote because... well, I was OOCing about consent with someone once and had a staff member ooc to everyone in the room about not using OOC properly, which left me and the other player feeling so weird that we both just turned around and logged out, so I wouldn't imagine most people would want their sexytime RP watched. I can say that I personally had a gay male bynner pc who used to wind up sometimes banging another runner after they beat the shit out of each other sparring... so... sometimes at least, but then I might be an outlier there and maybe most people don't. Hard to gauge, given the proclivity that people have to show dishonesty about the act in general, let alone its specifics. |

People just like to look like they're not perverts because for some reason there's an assumption that any player who participates in the uncensored and non-edited representation of the spectrum of a human life is doing it for sexual gratification. And lying about not doing it only makes it look more to be the case when there's the public appearance that only a handful of people participate in that avenue of roleplay. A comedian comes to mind, when I watch most people on this board in regards to mudsex. I think it was Jim Gaffigan. He said something about McDonalds along the lines vaguely of, "No one admits to eating at McDonalds, but they sell a billion hamburgers a day. Fun fact: most female pcs are assumed f-mes regardless if they're a tressy-tress or not. Playing a strong, big female? Someone's trying to hit it. Playing a fat ugly female character ? Someone's trying to hit it. Playing a one legged, one eyed female character? Someone's trying to hit it.

Getting fucked, or someone trying to fuck you doesn't have anything to do with f-me's. You can legitimately fuck tons of people and never cross into the f-me territory, by my opinion. It's a hard line in the sand. The things that makes people f-me's are characters designed to get fucked. That's the design. Whether you make your character ugly, gorgeous, or tough, if you designed it with the specific purpose of getting fucked, that's the f-me.
