"Once upon a time, back in 2003ish, I went to the APM that was being held at DragonCon. I met lots of people and much fun was had. One of the people I met was a kid named Clyde. I remember three things about him at that APM: the first was that he filled a camelback full of vodka and proceeded to drink it throughout the day. The second is, after he passed out from all this vodka, I and a couple other girls dressed him in a negligee and makeup, and took some epic pictures. The third is that when he woke up right after this, he puked on the hotel room floor and we had to clean it up. That was the full extent of my in-person interaction with Clyde. A few years later he was playing a Kadian. He was having trouble "falling asleep" in the middle of gameplay because he was on "painkillers." He nodded off so many times and for so long that other players complained, and his PC would start to starve. When I asked about it, Clyde admitted he had a "former" drug problem and would try to do better. I have struggled with drugs and alcohol problems myself and wanted to give him another chance, but he continued to have problems in his sponsored role, so eventually I had the character retired. This was probably 2006-8, somewhere in there. He took it ok at first, but awhile later lodged a complaint alleging that I sexually harassed him. I left staff around 2009, and since then Clyde has shifted his focus to Nyr. He seems like he's pretty bitter, but I never did him any wrong. I wasn't going to respond to this crap, but hopefully this will put the issue to rest for any reasonable person."
tldr shes dragging kron thru the mud by appealing to popular opinion about his possible rl problems to both justify retiring a game char and get ppl to believe she wasnt after him at all. and im guessing he only 'took it ok' at first because he didnt know the person storing his char was the same chick hed rejected years ago and missed the clear conflict of interest.

 I do enjoy how she basically cops to sexual harassment by taking a passed out male and putting him in a negligee. I mean I would have done it too, but it's just funny the things people think are okay to disclose that if a legal complaint was ever pressed would cause their defense attorney to advise them to settle out of court. PS - Player complaints about responsiveness are not grounds for storage. As long as his Kadian is able to progress plots, is not intentionally avoiding RP, and from the sounds of it he was pretty much the premiere clan in Tuluk at the time. It'd be like canceling Flogging Molly because someone complained they couldn't understand their accents. PPS - Am I the only one who doesn't care about Kronibas claim of sexual harassment? I mean sure (if true) it's a big deal, but that never seemed like the crux of his complaint. Always seemed like to me his biggest issue was newer staff changing standards and docking karma that older staff gave along with really positive account notes. |

Jeshin, do you read anything that I write?
My biggest gripe was that I got screwed with unnecessarily by Vanth, who is really proving she had a grudge all along, really.
Also, trying to hate on my vodka camelback... Wtf?
She is also mistaken because that would have been in 2005, when I had recently finished infantryschool for the USMC, hence the camelback.
In 2003, I graduated high school and had not ever owned a camelback.

Have I corresponded with the staff about substance abuse before? Yes, and it was a huge problem in my early 20s.
Eventually I managed to pull myself out of most of it, become an honor society president, tutor and teach English for about five years, and generally overcome a lot of my problems.
But, if you want to use your imm correspondence to take lot shots at me, that probably shows that you were a shitty choice for a staff member in the first place.

That's why she won't speak in her own defense, instead feeding her (lie filled) side of the story to other people. Vanth was pretty stupid for airing out the dirty laundry between you two, if anything this info works in entirely your favor. Kron, I wouldn't worry about Vanth's attempts to assassinate your character given how fucking long ago this happened. People change and I have no doubt you've gotten over using alcohol to that extent, etc. She assassinated her own character in that post by confessing to non-consensually stripping you and humiliating you. I'm sorry that you got raped by her, as she has confessed in her own words! |

Kronibas gets wasted, therefore, his arguments are invalid.
I will genuinely say that high quality marijuana was one of the MAIN things that helped me quit abusing other substances, and if high quality marijuana had been in my area, I probably would have smoked it instead of drinking/pills/whatever.
These days, I live and work on a marijuana grow, and it has been YEARS since I have regularly abused hard drugs or even DRANK to excess. My girlfriend and I grabbed a couple of six packs of craft brew a little under two weeks ago.
I know that sometimes I probably seem a little weird in my text, but what should also show through is the fact that I am almost always sober, sans smoking a little pot, and I feel that it is a shame for someone to exploit their correspondence as a staff member to attack me as a person, especially when it is just a big heap of lawlsauce.
