So in my time playing I've noticed a few crazy things IG. I searched for them, and didn't come up with much. When I was a newbie I would contact NPC's frequently to train my contact, two I encountered had the keyword 'Demon'
Anyone know the story behind these demons? If I recall correctly one was black, and the other was white. Anyone got the descriptions for these? Had an imm animate one and contact me back once, that was hilarious.
As far as the thread is concerned, what have you all seen that most of us wouldn't know about?

iirc, they were added to usher in Arm2 by ushering out Arm1 in a hellstorm of destruction.

There's a shit horror that does lurk in the Byn latrines which staff can load up occasionally to mess with people.

There was a demon ('a dark-winged demon'?) way east of Tuluk in a little sort of valley that cut into the mountains east of the thornlands. I think it stood around guarding some kind of pyramid or temple that had no immediate purpose, probably from an old RPT. It had been there for years and years, like since before I started playing in 2004 or something, but eventually it was removed or killed.
Wasn't there a Godzilla, too?

No, this happened quite often in the good old days. Usually it was a sewer horror, but sometimes they'd break out the poisonous-bite sewer horror larvae. It wasn't too overdone, maybe once every RL year or two, and always a roaring good time when it happened.

Think I was a gaj get loaded up in the arena once, during my borsail days. That was about it, but I don't recall much about it. I was a huge newbie.

Saw a few in the arena, and they're in the plane of earth, too. I like the earth plane gajes...gaji...gaj? Because they're winged and crystalline. Some of my favorite npcs are elementalist summons though. From earth golems to the nereid type things of vivaduans to animate dust devils of whirans and back again. They're all strange and unique and interesting. |

I've animated many a tentacle to fuck with Bynners when I was on indie staff. It's great to watch the Bynners scatter and scramble but not die. It always sucks when you kill a pc without meaning to. |

If you're meaning the serpentine or serpentlike demon, it tied into nilaz altars that are (were, might still be) scattered around, also with a serpentine theme, as well as the huge serpentine statue at the end of that river surrounded by all the snakes in mantis valley. It had a name and the name was known for a while, but I can't recall what it was. |
