I think it's been two yeas. nah its been and year and maybe a some change cuz jc opened them up to everyone a few months before anaiah rebelled from the sun legions if by that you mean departure from staff, that was 2011. if by that you mean the day I joined the boards here, it was actually the highest volume of people to visit the boards at once, and is on the main page of the site here: Most Users Online: 63 (Sep 12, 2013 at 5:53pm) |

I have a litmus test for this thread: watch Allanak.
People like Allanak. There are never any threads that are about 'how do we improve Allanak'. It's been said on the gdb that if it ain't broke, don't fix it multiple times.
Now Nyr is staffing Allanak.
If widespread changes that not a single soul is asking for do happen in the next six months or so, you're correct in the staff/player disconnection being large beyond repair.
If such things don't happen, and Allanak is instead managed instead of swung about wildly, it is proof of some level of understanding on the part of staff: we realise you enjoy Allanak, and therefor don't mess with it.
Just keep your eyes peeled. It won't take long.

Takin' all bets! put your money on an outcome and who's to blame, folks! im still (sadly) expecting an ic 'expansion' war for allanak that starts with attacking and eradicating storm. ive got 50 on storm being eradicated, unplayable, or unchoosable as a pc starting option sometime before 2020 (if the mud closes down before then, the bet is null) |
