She mentions some of their little words of wisdom.

Could have 'easily' been a psion, posing as a Lanah to manipulate the tribe. Hell, if Lirathan order 'created' SLK as a concept, to have a seperated tribe of mage killers in the tablelands, I would find that to be perfectly plausible.

Or ... it could've been Lanah herself.
