Dat feel you feel when broken wagons, trapped mounts, gick, gith, and delf country, no water, no food, no friends and you still manage to hike out of it and survive. Byn escorts are for pussies With my first ranger. Fo'reals.

You haven't ARM'd until you've clawed your way out of the desert with %5 HP remaining 2 hp both times, once with an al'seik ranger. another was with a sorc/ranger. The sorc ranger got duped by lyvrenxice who had her locked into the water cave with a wall of sand and 5 people attack. Dispel worked its first try against it (at 2 hrs played) and she escaped with 2hp enough to get back to the tent that used to be in the cave outside cenyr. The ranger seik was against going out hunting tarantulas melee at 3 hours played, go figure, when her elder in the tribe insisted. She got knockd to 2 hp by a tarantula, then he tried to tell her it was her totem. She's like 'No, it was predictable and something I was against doing to start with'. >.<

i was part of an ill-fated Byn expedition where we were heading from Allanak to Tuluk and got all mixed up and lost because we couldn't find Ten Sarak (Luir's was overrun at the time). We ended up killing a runner and drinking his blood (with staff help) for sustenance.

I just want to add the maps that are on here are pretty good to plan out a general route and they even have most rest stops. Really just focus on getting to Luir's alive. If you stick to the landmarks you're pretty safe, an odd scrab or spider might pop out on you. If it's a spider or a black shelled scrab, fucking run, don't even look at it just get the hell out of there. Spiders can and will hunt you that's why it's important to keep your mount rested. You don't want to spam north and your mount says "Nuh-uh."
Once you're out of spider country, you're in gith country and you want to be careful around that wagon, but you're almost to Luir's. Once you get to Luir's your trip is pretty easy to Tuluk. Just watch out for Carru, their charge can fuck you up and knock you into a room with another Carru if you are unmounted (yay!). When you hit the northern part of the north road bordering the Grey forest, you need to look out for Kryl, again, they will fuck you up. Don't look, just stick to the road and run.
That's just the NPC creatures you have to worry about. The scary part is really the PCs. If you stumble onto a PC without a mount you should start worrying, it's likely they are a magicker or at the very least a bandit who wants your shit. Be aloof when you run into a PC or a group of PCs, that way they may think you are a magicker too and leave you alone. The worst thing that can happen to you out there is getting robbed, stripped of your weapons, water and mount. Now you're in serious trouble.

The whole thing is fucking metal. Im also willing to believe the player didnt want to be subjected to an argument with a staffer about whether or not you can really survive on piss.
