Most of them are worth it, if you can make it to the right vendors when they're not fully stocked. If you're looking to sell to pc jewelers though, jade, amber, marble, obsidian, etc are all pretty good, as are pearls, but stuff like lapis, moss green agate, sunstone, etc, as far as I was aware on leaving, wasn't craftable into anything, so pick your stones carefully there, though pc jewelers might also buy flint from you cheap to avoid going out after some, alabaster too.

It depends on who is playing/doing what. If you have six people selling gems to vendors, then you aren't going to be making bank. It would be better to forage for salt.
If you are the only one selling to vendors, then you will be making easy coin. Nearly every gem would be worth keeping at that point.

There's a dwarf in luir's marketyard who buys moss and buys/sells artifacts who will buy some of them. Others are bought/sold by a lady in I think it's a stall, in the same place. Outside Luir's? No real clue.

Mekillot hide stand in Luirs Dwarf with a cart in Luirs The stoneworker in Allanak (on theyuks walks or whatever) The trinket stall in Allanak There used to be a gypsy run shop in Tuluk near the herb stall which secretly bought them (not sure if still there since volcano tyme) Uh.. That is all I can think of.
