Hey there. I can't reveal too much on my own without giving away my IC info, but heres a question. What are the locations and types of animals one can buy pets? Animal objects, preferably alive. If you know where to find them, post em' here.

I think the only "pet" items you can buy aren't mob items, they're just accessories with animal mdesc and sdesc you can wear on your shoulder. They don't have echoes or "do" anything, they're just an RP prop.

Yeah, thats what I'm referring to. I don't mean a mount, or a combat aid. I mean something you can have around you to accentuate your RP. I'd love that.

They can be found in the wild actually, there is also an npc camp that spawns them. One of your best bets is to buy them from a d-elf

Luirs market has a person, near the south eastern corner of the market. I believe it is near an arabetti clothing stand and the hide seller. They have lizards and other things. Small songbirds. Sometimes other stuff. Snakes.

Gahhhhhhh that drove me absolutely nuts. I saw a guy once walking around with a BURNED hawk on his shoulder, and I was like.. So your hawk got.. what? Thrown in a fire? Doused in acid? The fuck is wrong with it? And he was like, oh him, he's fine. He's been like that forever..

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the pets, but mostly because people wear them CONSTANTLY. Sorry, but there's no way that thing's going to hang out in the Gaj with you very well. Dont care how well trained it is.
If I were an imm, I would probably get my jollies from having songbirds poop on peoples' silken-clad shoulders. Just saying.
Most people put them on and don't RP them realistically. They're essentially just a "Look at me" item. Like masks. Fuck masks, seriously.

It's been done, numerous occasions. There were even small wars in apartments where snakes, songbirds, and hawks had it at each other.
