Continuing in his reading from a scroll, voiced raised as he addresses the crowds of the Arena, the sinewy red-robed templar says, in sirhish: "... 14 counts of murder, 28 counts of burglary, 4 counts of heresy, and nearly a dozen counts of Grand Theft Argosy, for these crimes the accused shall fight in the arena until dead, then reanimated to fight until destroyed, and reanimated again and again, until Suk-Krath has gone dark and Zalanthas has gone to dust." I'd watch this, and it would be glorious.

Hahaha Lolz... this entire conversation just makes me want to get some merchants and some burglars togeather and go steal ALL of the wagons and drive them off the shield wall so the imms are forced to let us build new wagons. This may be one of the most awesome workarounds I have seen, ever. What can I say ? I gots good ideaz

Staff has concluded, based on a recent discussion, that Wagons in Zalanthas are impractical as a means of travel. Sand in the spokes would render them ineffective and like, there is no metal, and you need metal somewhere in a wagon for tiny parts, even tho gickers, and its also too hot inside them, so people would die or get stuck as they don't have the science. So there will be no moar wagons nao.
A staff member sends, be the change, cuntface.

Got a link to this discussion?
It's okay, I went ahead and looked around a bit. It looks like you were referencing Lakota's old post (that's me by the way) or the one Nyr locked after getting owned by marc and having Morgenes roll out the "BUT WE'RE VOLUNTEERS" excuse.

Would it be accurate to say that the wagon making skill is sorely bugged since it can't be used to actually make wagons?

No, it would not.
Staff will not flesh out the skill because reasons.

What is up with the white robe template? Someone wrote there is one in the Templar apartment if you sneak in there, are they as strong as the average blue robe?

In Allanak there are several ranks of robes. Someone who has played a long lived noble/templar or Anaiah might be able to further elaborate on my following information.
Blue - 'Important' people Red - Relevant people White/Black - Actually Important people (white lead the veneration of Tek and that whole religion thing) Jade - Mindless mana batteries for Tek himself. Basically they're gemmed Templars. Possibly the gemmed nobility or full on sorcs that are enslaved to Tek's will and fed on.

I wonder if they'd ever open the route for someone to play an unranked templar in the religious sect. Ive always thought Nak would do better with more PC representation of the Tek worship.

No, the white robes are part of something else entirely.
They're part of the secret Allanaki eugenics plot to continue to create psions for the ministry of the mind and sorcerers/elementalists for the jade robes.

They do very common tasks, like the white robed templar mount seller that sells mounts to people in the bazaar. Jade robes are not mindless. In fact, the opposite. There are 2 jade robes. one was a pc noble, the other is tek's daughter, who has the full skill tree for both magick AND psionics, and has a note that when she's animated, she's to be treated as HYPERaware of everything. So... White is the errand boys of the templarate. Blue is the shift managers. Red are the Assistant Managers. Black are the store managers. Jade are only 2, and totally outside of the dynamic, but would rank somewhere around red robes.

It's worth noting the templar ranks appear to have been retconned. I know what nobodyatall is talking about. And I dont recall Tek having a daughter back when there were jade templars being treated as Tek's backup batteries.
