We should all make nobles. Who like to hunt. and spend all of our time hunting and sparring together.

Make a set of nobles who employ NO ONE in Tuluk. Whether independant hunters/scouts/assassins, traveling merchants, the Byn, desert elf allies, spies in Allanak... smother the heart of Tuluki roleplay in meticulously maintained silence and evasion.

Yeah, this is what I was talking about,. Just make a bunch of nobles who only rp with each other, hunt, and don't engage in the Game of Thrones shartist-using betrayal Nyr wants.

See, I actually think it would be fun to try and employ people while maintaining that meticulous silence. The issue is that everyone is always too perfect, and never ever drops the ball.

classic joffnyr here for y'all from the gdb thread about the player-staff meeting
joffnyr says "After checking around with staff as well, it looks like the 16th is the best date for this from the staff end. I think we are going to end up going with that!"
the poll in that thread has the 16th as the least popular option with only 20% prefering that day.
that right there is everything anybody needs to know about joffnyr's defintion of player invovlement. allow me to translate for joffnyr "I asked your opinion and now i've made my decision with no regard for you, y r u upset?"

He actually dropped the D-bomb like it was cool. His whole "Sure one of our secret roles could've been killed off by players. We just would've deus ex'd that shit to move the plot along" was like ......wow. "Sorry! The princess is in another castle!" Lol....really?!
i also loved the secret role/animated NPC concept. "Sure you could app this role where you're nothing more than a living plot device and will also die. Thanks to the player that died that horrible death that time playing X! Good job!"

wow much cynical very cheat such lame Nice way to make your arguments look good by making everyone else's look like crap beforehand. How do you know it is a minority? You can't read minds. We play because we like to play. That doesn't mean we can't see something that seems incongruous. So you cater to your favorites... ...and the rest of us just can just quit? That doesn't seem like an appropriate response to questioning a plot. Just posting something that got nyrd in the forums. This was a good response and I'm someone had the balls to say it. Too many brown-nosed sheep on the GDB they don't realize they are really hurting the game by trying to shut down honest criticism on what is a shitty plot with a lot of holes.
