No clue, I'm submitting a ticket now. At least I've got this site backed up to my harddrive now and only have to suffer finding a new host if worse comes to worst.

Maybe an imm owns the host. I doubt it. I can't put in a support ticket, because apparently free sites aren't allowed to contact technical support and ask why their hosting was suspended without cause or notice unless I pay 5 bucks for premium service. Looking at the numbers in google analytics, I haven't crossed passed the actual amount of unique visitors allowed. I browsed their support boards a bit and found a few other people claiming in the last year or two of their free hosting being discontinued without any notice. If things don't get resolved in a few days I'm just going to find a new site, which is kind of a bummer because that URL just got indexed as the 3rd hit on google when searching for 'Armageddon MUD'. As I said before though, I have the entire site backed up on the harddrive and it should just be a matter of uploading it to a new free host, which are a dime a dozen on the internet. |
