Brewing

It is a cool add, but complex enough to be frustratingly confusing and risky to learn.

If I of roll a new PC. The brewing system now, is it still you see a red tint or whatever, two mul-mix, two red-dye for a blood burn cure? If not what are some plants you craft to get the basic cure sets?

So, how does one go from powder to vial/tablet? What's needed again?

It’s surprising the documentation for the brew code is so unhelpful. If I were feeling snarky I might say it’s intended to increase the difficulty but that doesn’t jibe with other changes in the game to reduce difficulty of entry.

To brew tablets just “craft dust into #1” Where #1 would be a tablet. To craft a vial, “craft dust vial into #1” where #1 is the finished vial you want to craft. “Craft dust into tablet” will. To work because for some reason all brewing uses only the # option for crafting.

DO NOT try to combine multiple flavors of mixes directly into a tablet or vial because it will taste like ash and will no longer be effective.


First brew the desired herbal combinations into one brewed object then use that single unit (and vial if that’s th plan) and craft it/them into a tablet/vial.

Surprisingly most of the recipe combinations were contained in the code dump. The poisons I found as a pledant surprise, fortunately I also had the posion skill at the time so I was able to identify them, otherwise the posion stiff would have gone unnoticed.

The cures for the more powerful/useful poisons (heramide and peraine) require a very high brew skill to create. If possible, tryy holding a mortar and pestle to see if the small boost they give to brewing will give enough skill to do the job.
