I want to know if I can mount an aurochs without staff assistance, I know damn well they are out there in the wild, and have seen them as mounts in game under special circumstances, and heard of important people owning them too.
I -think- based on experience that sunback or sunlons (possibly both) seem more efficient at climbing things. It always seems like they fail less often if I need to pull them out of a hole or something. Beetles seem the worst at it. Inix / ox kind of seem in the middle. Erdlus fucking suck.
Inix seem to be the fastest / able to carry the most weight but holy fuck they take forever to rest.
Beetles seem to ride the longest / highest stamina, slower than inixes (inixi?) by a bit, they also seem to take less time to regen stamina overall. They carry a decent amount of weight but not as much as an inix.
Oxes seem to be this middle ground animal, which climbs efficiently, carries a resonable amount of weight, moves at reasonable speed and has reasonable stamina and regen. Kind of like an 'average' mount which everything is both worse and better in some ways.
Fuck erdlus. I only think people buy them because they are the cheapest mounts or for unknown RP fetish purposes.
This is based off of riding various creatures over time, and watching others ride them. Not seeing raw data or anything, but it's observed evidence.
