Sewers

Huh... I've never really thought of this.

There's an easy way to find out though, if you don't have both desert/city hide at the same time.

Just try hiding in a sewer location. The echo you get should tell you all you need to know.

My old character, my last character, was a sewer-dwelling dwarf (the darkly discolored dwarf). His name was Muck Gurthsmacker (a title earned while he was in the 'Byn).

The sewers are not as dangerous as some would like you to believe. The danger comes from gickers, which usually hang out down there. Also its really easy to kill people down there as its hard to escape once a brawl starts. As of a couple months ago I think there was one or two dedicated 'dwellers besides myself. A couple things you should know about the sewers.

1. You can never bring enough torches.
2. To be safe, you should have the climb skill.
3. Tumor rats can give you the plague, but being a tough as nails dwarf I never really had that problem.
4. You will lose stamina in the sewers, its basically a wilderness area.
5. There are two main areas, the sewers, and the earthen tunnels beyond. Watch the fuck out in the latter for death dropoffs (and zombies/spoilers). I almost died once but saved myself by spamming up up up up. The sewer area might be considered city, I dont really know its been awhile.
