Yeah, I would hesitate to speak ill of her except for being an enabler to Nyr, though I have not really had much positive correspondence with her.
I can't see how nice people could just sit back and enable him to speak to players like that, though.
Guys, I have been a straight up outlaw IRL for a few years now, who has had a pretty rough life honestly in that time, and I can find it in myself to be nice to people... I just can't understand why you'd be mean to people for what they do or not not do on Armageddon. There's just no need to ever be mean unnecessarily, you know? And there's no need to sit back and remain silent while other people are treated poorly.
This is a game that a lot of under dogs play, and it's important to remember that. You shouldn't be just... Mean... To people like that. Not OOCly, anyway. A lot of the people who play Armageddon have already been treated meanly or like nerds a lot in their lives, so let Armageddon be a place where they can come and do cool shit, not be intellectually brow beat, spoken snidely to, or embarrassed or otherwise made to feel inferior or "not good enough." It should be a confidence booster, not something that makes you question yourself over and over and over again.

I'm glad Adhira has held on because choosing not to would have accelerated the ascension of price joffnyr to the throne.
Edit: And if she is sick or something, like has cancer, then I am incredibly sorry and hopes she gets better.

Jcarter, just doing some thinking here. When was Rissa, Nyr's psionicist, active in Tuluk? Talking RL year spans. would know better than me. Also you can tag people in posts by putting @ in front of their name, which gives them a notification. I almost missed your post. Being a decent human being doesn't make me a suckup. no, but having an entire post history here dedicated to defending staff does. |

Someone asked me why I had not spoken up in public before, too. Reading how I wasn't the only one being treated like trash by Nyr had a lot to do with it. No offense guys, but I am OG anti Nyr, and I think I probably didn't like that guy long before many of you. But if you are not hearing other people complain, it's easy to think its "just me." That it's my fault. But when the problems are so widespread, no, it's probably not "just me." One of the strongest stories I empathize with on here regarding Joffnyr is when I read jcarter's post about his Kuraci. After reading that, I was like... Yep, that pretty much happened to me, too. So, I think seeing how other people have had problems gives people strength to speak out. It reminds me of being in high school in the Deep South and being the first dude to be like... Hey guys, god isn't real. And at first everyone is like STFU, yes he is, but then as the months of you saying that go on, you notice that people start agreeing with you. Because even if they don't want to admit it for the sake of peace, they know it's true, deep down inside, and your words have hit a nerve that just won't allow them to see it like it ever was before. |
