I would read most of this stuff, but... I know why Kitt was murdered, and it wasn't because they refused someone sex. IsFriday has always been blissfully ignorant why his PC is dead. I can't tell you why, but I do know. It was totally IC, legit, and justified.

Further, do not speak FOR IsFriday. You're devaluing his PC if you do. You would NOT believe the REAL reason they were executed. I hated his PC, I admit, but when I learned, I was like, holy fuck, that's amazingly goddamn awesome. It blew my FUCKING MIND. Even admitting that I know what REALLY happened is an implication, but please, let's not falsely claim that IsFriday's PC died from refusing mudsex... but, if you're going to hate on staff, try to keep the illuminati and bilderburgers out of it.
EDIT: I hated his PC, I did, I really did. I thought she was a detriment to the game, but eventually... I felt bad about her getting executed, it was the culmination of a badass plot that you probably wouldn't know about. I wasn't like all, rage, but ambivalent, like, I can see why this happened, but also, that's so fucking amazing that that was happening! It turned my view of his PC from thoroughly negative, to positive. It wasn't about mudsex in the slightest, to my understanding.

I don't know what to say to IsFriday other than /all fucking noble PCs are expected to reproduce virtually if they live long enough/. It's kind of a thing, and I highly suggest players don't play the role if they don't want to virtually fuck an NPC. Kitt did stupid things and was punished ICly for stupid things. That's it. I was playing at least for a little while around the time that this happened, and know for a fact that it's the case. How? I was a part of why she was punished. My character, and the 2 other characters that she personally knew who were brought to Kitt's little torture setup that she was strapping people up in/on, and threatening/intimidating people with. In FACT, my character was brought there the first time she met her, made a proposition to work for Borsail that was damn near impossible to refuse while looking at the still wet pool of blood from the last person she'd strung up to kill there, and went on to work for a noble pc who hated and had designs on Kitt. Guess what little bird immediately started flapping their lips? This one. I don't know how Kitt came up or what the deal there is, but yea, being married off into Tor happened expressly because she was an embarassment and they wanted her out of the House. Hilariously, the hate continued after that for the entire length of the life of the character I had, growing worse and worse, with Kitt's aide turning the Atrium and the other aides against her too, or perhaps it was Kitt herself, no idea, in any case, it was ridiculous and irritating, and Kitt probably deserved worse. FFS, I've seen people be force stored for less than that. |

I know my PC got strung up by Kitt too, he was so fucking terrified, then he lost it and said the meanest shit he could think of, before a staff animated NPC walked in to put a stop to it (He was SERIOUSLY going to die there, no way around it) and got cut loose. I know quite a while after that he contacted Kitt to apologize and she's like, well, it was nothing personal, you understand? And he was like, I understand. And at that point he kind of gained a grudging respect for her.
And no, Aniah, I know exactly, EXACTLY why Kitt died. Maybe My2sids doesn't, but Kitt got caught doing something completely unthinkable, that most people would only wish they could pursue. Eh, remember now, My2sids? Kitt did a lot of crazy shit, but I think there's only one thing she was doing (which she totally RPed out leaving obscure evidence of, which is admirable you did that) that got picked up on eventually. When I heard I was like, fuck, that's amazing that she'd do that. I know she was fucked up, but that's, well, that more than makes up for anything else and I'm actually sad she got caught.

Kitt reached out and made alliances with house Oash, and was actually, asking a lot of intriguing questions about magic. She was keeping these books she'd written, and one day they were discovered and read. They seemed harmless enough, but they were actually a cypher. Kitt, was, studying, to, become, a, sorcerer. Un-fucking-believable. So these books got decoded, slowly, over time, and reported, and the higher-ups in Tor were like, tell, NO ONE. Then one day, they executed her, when enough evidence mounted.
Truth be told, I kinda wish she'd succeeded. And mad props, my2sids, that's just, an astonishing thing to pursue. I can think of few things scarier than an ex-Borsail who go married into Tor, who was known to be unstable and cruel, who just one day went mad with power defiling. I know Borsail has always had a very strong grudge with Oash, but at the time, she was no longer Borsail so I do not think it was bad form, and could have even made sense if she was Borsail and trying to mend fences, provided it was justified. Kudos, man.
