I'm glad that's been your experience! I've frankly come to the opposite conclusion recently.
Adhira stated that she knew there was further personal information in the staff wiki; however, she failed to reach out and contact either Jcarter or Barka to my knowledge. Does that mean she allowed the information to stay out there? It seems like everyone is failing their responsibilities on the staff team, coming to attack me of all people before moving onto some next target.

Honestly purg I feel you are more of the problem trying to undermine the game once you were let back and posting under multiple names.
I feel largely your experience is self inflicted and you are Kronibus v2.0. Even the Bus was let back despite his bizarre crusades which shows a different direction for staff and a willingness for comprimise.
One event you can't let go of..No idea why. It's a game. Bad stuff happens and staff tried to meet you some of the way.
You are like the reverse Lizzie. Basically the same person, two sides of the same ocd coin.

Staff never tried to meet me on an intellectual equal and honest platform. They've never tried to meet anyone. Not that I can see.
Sure you can point at me now and go I deserve it. If you want to continue condoning their bad practices, be my guest. It's this one event I can't let go of apparently, that completely represents what's wrong with the game in the first place. And it hasn't been fixed.

You absolutely deserve it man. I agreed with you at the time. But jesus was more than a year ago. Imagine if any staff of any game you play fucked you over? You would stop playing.
Why not? Probably healthier for you. Or play and accept that humans are fallible. Doesn't matter if paid or not.

Go ahead and use time as some sort of metric to invalidate what I'm trying to say. The exact same thing happened on TMC: "This happened over a month ago, why does it matter?" It matters because the fundamental attitudes and hostility towards players still exists which caused those decisions to be made in the first place.
There has been no apology. There has been no substantial effort to improve that specific mistake. Sure, the staff team will feel like they're under pressure and start doing things, producing things because they can see that being stagnant allows these truths to shine through; but other than that, they're still willing to make the same bad decisions as it was years ago and before.
And before you talk to me about my meeting with Adhira: Adhira lied to my face in that teamspeak. I went and made my case for the resurrection policy to be changed so that the entire game could be improved, away from the flawed and amateurish code towards standards of roleplay - do you know what I was answered with? When Adhira walked away from that meeting telling me "We'll look at this and consider it", do you remember the result of my attempt at engaging one of the producers and improving the game? Nyr wrote a snippet on the end of the policy that said "We can ban anyone who disagrees", and he rubbed my fucking nose in it like the smug bastard he is by telling me it didn't matter; my case was still bollocks and would always be bollocks.
It was somewhere along that moment I became so critical.

i think it's funny that nergal is ranting about copyrighted material when the wiki is mostly comprised of works submitted by the playerbase and ideas that the staff admits are directly stolen from D&D. seriously on the ankheg page it says 'taken from D&D'.

I am glad staff identities were not shared. (Or were they) To be honest I love big brother now. What exactly happened? Nothing happened. GDBia has always been at war with East Carter. ... but seriously, I'll give you a quick rundown of the facts and the murky areas. Fact: Barka downloaded the staff wiki Murky: Whether Barka had access to do this or performed some form of illegal act to get it. Fact: There was a contact page with some RL info on it. Fact: Barka pulled that down within 20 minutes, upon realizing it was up. Fact: I checked the deletion log after I read about that, and PMed Barka that the deletion log's comments still had Adhira and 2 other people's info listed inline. Fact: Barka deleted the deletion log within 7 minutes of that PM (checked my messages). Murky: There was RL info elsewhere Fact: I went through all of the staff pages as the second thing I did as a trip down memory lane. There was an email address and AIM handle for Adhira, and I think one other email, so I'd LOVE to know just where the hell else RL info would be because I didn't see it. Fact: The staff are grossly overreacting to what amounts to an outing of secret history that cannot change the course of the game in any way, but pretending they're upset because of doxxing that didn't happen. |

I think those bushes are only good for getting fruit. When you kill them you can harvest their delicious fruits. You cannot skin them they become a container object, it's the only place I've seen that code for dead NPCs.

I think those bushes are only good for getting fruit. When you kill them you can harvest their delicious fruits. You cannot skin them they become a container object, it's the only place I've seen that code for dead NPCs. It's utilized in the Mantis valley and at least one island in the silt. Information is roughly four years dated, though. |
