i guess I got banned from commenting on my home county's sheriff page for calling bullshit every time they posted weed arrests, too. also got banned from emailing the top federal weed scientist, too. hmmm. I would very much enjoy seeing copies of these messages if you still have them.

I shut down my Facebook otherwise I could probably find them. They werent nearly as hilarious as the shit I pulled on the local news station from where I taught started running stories about a Missisisppi legalization movement that I helped spur on. That shit was so fucking funny. Then there was the one time the same news agency posted a story about local police using Facebook to catch criminals, and I took the opportunity to challenge any and all members of the legal system to a public debate about marijuana. The Lee county, Missisisppi, sheriff's department from around a year ago might have them. Probably about the same timeline for wtva news. Not sure if my comments would should up since my thing is currently shut down, though. facebook is a really heartbreaking thing sometimes because it allows for people to address/articulate problems but not really effect much change except to change people's minds. I mean, you can, and I have, but often it's not enough to change people's minds. at the end of the day, changing people's minds is not enough to effect immediate change. And jesus, just reading about common sense shit, like integration... Even getting that accomplished was a nightmare. you need funding, a place to rally and house people, and more money. Changing shit in this country is a nightmare, no matter how many lives are destroyed or lost while we wait for common sense changes to occur... The United States of America is free in many ways, but it is not free enough... And if history has shown us anything at all, it has shown us that changing the way things are is often extremely, extremely ugly, and far too frequently, bloody as fuck on a scale of horrifyingly epic proportions... Random thought... My two front teeth are fake from a fight I got in with a huge black guy on Memorial Day weekend 2007... Had pinned this huge fucker to a steel bench when the jailer comes in and smashes MY face against the steel bench, shattering my two front teeth. Overcrowded jail cell for three days, me and another white dude and a couple dozen bros, but most were cool, even after the fight, cause fuck, jailer aside, i won the fight in front of a big crowd and was left alone afterwards.
People have no idea what Missisisppi is like. Jesus lord. They have no idea.

You must not have read the posts that your trolly asshole friend Grumble (Fujikoma) kept posting where he was intentionally insulting other players in an open manner, which is against board policy, not to mention just being a general fucking asshole. Nothing he was saying had anything to do with Armageddon the game, it was him calling people idiots and being a general lunatic. You know, like he USUALLY is. In this situation, he was moderated twice, very rapidly. He deserved it. It makes sense that if people keep flaming and being total CUNTS, like you guys are so very famous for (sorry RougeRed, I don't want to lump you into the crowd, you make sense!), then the staff are going to lock the thread. I'd just ban Fujikoma for a few days and not bring down the whole RAT, bro.
The RAT is an institution. It's where good ideas go to die. If you locked the RAT, you might actually have ideas proliferating on the GDB, and that's bad news for everyone.

Other than the obsessive snark in your post, I'll concede it's better to just ban the guy, but it's still getting way out of hand if staff has to moderate the same thread literally within like five minutes of moderating it the first time.
