Only one part of the current argument I have to disagree with.

Plenty of people gave the staff shit without pushing it so far that their GDB accounts were banned. The idea that we just silently accept problems to keep our karma isn't accurate when your idea of facing the problem head-on is to continue bickering until they to ban you. Everyone isn't going to link arms and stop playing until all new staff is elected by some majority.

Every time you make it an 'us vs them' argument where you can only be on one side or the other, you lose me. It's possible to shine a light on issues without derailing and flipping out at staff(or even just stooping to their snarky level) and labeling everyone who isn't currently up in arms as a bunch of coerced brown-nosers.

Anyone truly serious about wanting change, should be posting over there as much as over here, or even applying to staff themselves. That's hard to do if you get yourself banned.

I'll say this... the only places I've been banned from were the First Judicial District of the State of Mississippi, a redneck bar where I got in a fight against two dudes making fun of me for wearing purple pants (i put up a damn good fight against those manky fucks, too), and the General Discussion Board on ArmageddonMUD.

Ok, I've been thinking and, we can shit all over PPP all we want for "pushing the issue too far", while ignoring the obvious favoritism that went into the repeated ressurections of Pearl and Qoriya (I think? I don't know, I refused to play in Tuluk during that shitshow), and, while those weren't the only ones, they were just the more obvious and consistently observed.... but is it really fair, to act like, oh, your problem is you weren't nice enough? I mean, I made that argument myself, while I was of a different opinion on matters, which, look back far enough, you'll see I was totally white knighting staff and calling everyone here idiots, albeit in lolcat speak because I didn't want to get banned... I still don't want to get banned but I give less of a shit than I used to because, while staff is honestly seeming to be trying to be better to players, I'm not going to fucking stop pointing out shit that needs to be fixed...

And what's it about? Well, let's look at how my account notes got shit on, or, for a less easily sabotaged, more established player's account notes got shat on, Kronibas's... for petty reasons (elf went outside, hurf durf. Player blocked me on aim so I'll poop on his account notes and brag about molesting his unconscious form on the internet, which I actually did, and get away with it because Kronibas never did get back what he earned), or Purg asking about some player resurections and perhaps coming off as demanding, because at the time he was likely shitting his pants in anxiety WORRYING about other players, or countless other examples that demand we either be inhuman machines or absurdly serene mountain monks, or maybe just part of the in-crowd on AIM... look, it's not that hard to understand that while things are getting better, there are some hot-button issues that were allowed to persist and everyone, quite frankly, is more than a little disturbed and skeptical with what they've seen, shit man, if you can feed me a bunch of contrived bullshit like you've been feeding, well, I don't really think there's any sense behind trying to make a point.

You would think that a bunch of nerds would rather engross themselves with admin-written fiction related to the game, but what they really want, ladies and gentlemen,

We need to post some fan fiction of me and Bitter having a cage match tag team against Eurynomos and malkeninthemiddle - if we did it in series form, it would surpass actually Arm fanfiction in staff announcements in mere days, i predict
