Untold Dawn is about to open on November 5th. It just wrapped up a closed alpha and has moved into open alpha, I’m already hyped, not just about what I've already experienced but the potential of what’s coming next. The Discord server looks to be full of Armageddon players. What are the staff doing to make sure they don't muck up UD with typical Armageddon player behavior?

I looked at Untold Dawn, but the vibes were kind of off. The news that it is inhabited by Armageddon players is doable. So long as they aren't the usual dum dums.

I mean kudos to the head staffer. Once you've made a decision you can be empathetic but you have to be firm otherwise everyone and their mother has a sob story to sway you if they aren't going full bridges burned mode.

I think it's worth a try. Rune seems to be running a significantly tighter ship than anyone at Arm ever did.

It's worth noting that Rune/Deskoft has people from his past who make claims about him that are fairly similar to claims made against Shaloonsh. Targeting, harassing, stalking of female players and their PCs.
This is from his time as an Armageddon player and also as a player/staff member of Sindome. Most of what I've been told is about him doing this as a Sindome staffer.

I've never seen anything about that before and Sindome has a more... "vocal" community than even Armageddon does. Want to post more information about that?
He was Kronos on Sindome, right?

He's been confronted about it in the Arm discord as recently as within the last week, when he showed up to really promote his new project. A staffer of his, Oracle (?), looks to have quit the project instead of stick around to deal with it.
Two different women, one of whom staffed alongside him, accused him of those sorts of behaviors. Having a high level CEO character who would take on what were essentially aides, leverage the position to mudsex, and use his staff avatar to keep tabs on them and keep them from straying or talking to other dudes or whatever control shit people get up to. Apparently he was also coding shit that directly benefited his character?
A third woman I talked to defended him and called him a special sweetheart who would never do anything wrong and claimed that he's been battling the accusations for years and basically glazed him up.
IDK his SD avatar's name; I've never even played SD. The people who called him out to me did so during conversations about Lidless Eye, who is another sex creep, and who also played SD.

I can't say I particularly care for Deskoft, he is or used to be kind of an Arm apologist but not as bad as some.
I also can't verify any accusations in the Arm discord as I am not participating in it. What I have seen in the Untold Dawn discord suggests that he has friendly relations with former Arm staff, though.

That's probably because he used to be Armageddon staff. I believe he was Caerus if memory serves.
I'd like to see some actual record of misconduct, like a dismissed complaint but I think it's reasonable to have some caution before jumping into the deep end of an RPI. It is, after all, an RPI, and we know what sorts of people play those. But AFAIK there were no such reports of misconduct when he was staffing Arm.
But yes, Lidless Eye is a different sex creep who played/plays SD and is in the UD server, and has a habit of using IC power imbalances to get ERP.
