If people are going to move on it might be good if they did so collectively. I'm trying Carrion Fields again. I hope all the really good RPers from Arm move over to it or find a new home.

I cannot think of a worse thing to wish on a MUD admin than a bunch of homeless Armageddon players.

to be fair
i think the community and culture arm developed over the years was the main contributing factor for all the shitters
i feel like the best of the former players would nestle in just fine in another community, and the worst of the former players would get culled pretty quickly

I mean, most of them have proven that they'll go along with the slightest iteration of boring macguffin gameplay, although also most would rather do anything than train or grind endlessly to attain peaks of great skill that staff will just give to their pets for nothing on day 0.

I cannot think of a worse thing to wish on a MUD admin than a bunch of homeless Armageddon players. It might actually be good for some Armageddon players to be forced to reckon with the fact that their behavior is unacceptable outside of Armageddon.

I don't think other MUDs are waiting for de-facto community takeovers. Go elsewhere if you wish, but adapt to the local culture, rather than vice versa.

Every RPI I have looked at required triple authentication, no VPN log ins or various other things. And really none look interesting enough to risk having to run a gauntlet of bittervets to do anything, so far.
