Hahaha what?? I can bribe them off? How much? Also, it only happened because I wished to the staff. I was only confirming if I was allowed to kill the pc standing near me, they said as long as it's within rp, killed him and WHAM. Arrested by 2 templars and 4 half-giant guards almost instantly and I'm standing there being dragged off thinking "why the fuck did the staff use ooc information to come and kill me needlessly..." Yeah, you have to pay before hand if you're a thief, picklock or assassin, get your little tattoo I think then it's okay.

Shit like that happens. You can either choose to fully believe that the Imms were out to get you. Or you can simply choose to think that maybe someone saw you killing him. Whether a sneak, or a Lirathan. Unfortunately, unless you're Nyr, you can never "fully" keep a secret in Tuluk. Not without bending rules and twinking anyway.
My personal advice? Dont kick the habit of wishing up for stuff like that. It'll solve you more problems then it will cause.

Yeah is there some coded bribe thing? There is some mention of this in the helpfiles but what exactly is it?

Not to my knowledge. In Dark Sun, 'coded' bribing is the domain of 21st level rogues.

The help file seems a bit vague. I read it as the Sap skill is used to silence guards, but one can also read that "Later on in their careers....pickpockets can silence guards."
I really don't believe there is a 'bribe' skill, though it is possible that npcs may have a bribe code of sorts.

Yeah is there some coded bribe thing? There is some mention of this in the helpfiles but what exactly is it? Coded? I don't think so, I played a Tuluk pickpoket once, you just paid three small to get a triangle tattooed on you, or something like it. I've heard Assassins are the same, pay your fee before you kill.

You're mis-reading that help file. It's still referencing the SAP skill. They can use the sap skill to silence guards as in the guards can't say shit if they are unconscious.

Guys. You do not need to a coded skill to bribe Templars. Just have money, or be useful. I've bribed a templar with a frigging teapot once. Templars exist to be bribed. I dont know if they even get a stipend like nobles do. I imagine they live on frigging bribes.

Oh I know that. Thats like saying "guys you can roleplay its okay" The helpfile does seem a little jumbled and vague there, if not redundant. Was just curious about it.
