"I thought you another. Who is this?"I have so much second hand embarrassment from reading this. It shows that the Bashurit were in kahoots with Kitanius to take down the north. It shows that this person was willing to OOC collab with her buddy. It also makes me wonder if Bast didn't know that Shalooonsh was Kitanius. Which is fucked up and another mind fuck. So she was playing the Bashurit, collabing with her staff members to build the clan. Did the artwork for the clan (featuring her own character despite no character artwork for a year supposedly - more perks of being a staff friendly.) She's getting promotions from Shalooonsh. And then, unbeknownst to her, he's playing a PC that is suddenly best friends with them and will know just how to manipulate them because he literally knows everything about them. It's so gross. I really don't know how you can have any self-respect and be a part of this game at this point. This is so deceptive to the players and trying to framework it as "fun on their behalf" its completely not it. Even if you don't care about the sexism it shows that players have no genuine agency in this game. The staff guard the monopoly on OOC information to maintain control. None of this is about what's in player best interest. Meanwhile, they were getting on the GDB the entire time saying staff do not retain certain roles at all except for extremely short interims. It's just lie upon lie. Or trying to frame it as a "resource PC" while dude sits around fiddling with his copper balls and just playing out the game at all hours of the day and night. Meanwhile, logged on as a staff member simultaneously and trying to nudge every PC of distinction to his and the other staffer's ends. Assumptions, assumptions. Does it sound like she knew they were staff? If she knew, she wouldn't have offered her discord. Yes she was collabing, along with FOUR other players, to help build the clan. Don't single her out, go for the whole squad if you're ganna start firing shots. Clearly she wasn't aware, so go ahead, assume again if you want. You're clearly butthurt, jaded, and so desperate for a response that you'll stoop to low levels of toxicity and blatant assumptions, to get your point across, be heard, feel validated. It's laughable. I actually wanted to reach out to you to apologize about Shaloonsh even though it's not my fault, offer my sympathy and clarify what went down with the Bashurit/masterless with you and yours, but now, I think it's a lost cause. I don't think you're approachable. |

Wasn't around for this Copper War 2 BS, but I have no doubts about any of this happening. Having interacted with Kitanius in his early days, the man got so insanely 'lucky' I assumed something was up, but at that point I still had a bit of good faith in staff so I just assumed he was favored. He was married within a couple IRL months as a Sath to a *Valika*, which is absolutely insane if you know anything about Allanaki politics. This gave him literally unlimited money to throw about IC. When that auction happened, the Northerners drummed up like 150k for the ancient book, but still got outbidded because - you guessed it - Kitanius basically pulled another 50k out of his asshole. Wonder where that came from! Kitanius also had some psionics (might've been from being a thrall, who knows whatever excuse they drummed up to give a staffer PC extra powers), and succeeded in any plot he was interested in doing. Another example I can think of, which there are many, though I don't have the time or particular want to recollect them all..
He was basically allowed to do whatever he wanted, whilst other fellow nobles were slapped down by their clan staff for even daring to suggest it. Back when they were still doing that 'rampant beast' plotline (Totally forgot the name of that thing), he was out hunting with the Byn himself. The Borsail at the time was scolded and mocked for suggesting to start her own plotline concerning that beast-thing. To boot, when I played my nobles, I literally got yelled at IC staff animation superiors for even dreaming about leaving the walls.
Whilst I never was much a fan of Altair and we definitely weren't on good terms IG, I never had animosity towards you OOC, Bebop. Kudos for exposing this kind of shit.
I still find it incredibly hard to believe the staff simply 'didn't notice' Shalooonsh doing all this stuff on his staff PC. That's what Halaster said. They simply didn't *notice*.

I'm literally agreeing with you on several points but you're so fucking on one you literally can't even read.
Also, I have absolutely zero interest in being approachable to whoever you are, so it all works out. No worries there.
I think this is the perfect example of the shit storm women are constantly exposed to for doing the absolute least... like not wanting to be harassed or just IDK saying things.

You and lechuck are literally lying about what went down and how it went down, so yes, I'm going to take an issue. I'm all for exposing the TRUTH, emphasis, TRUTH.
Kitanius may have actually been working on becoming a sorceror - I'll own that.
But everything else? Is false. Nobody got buffed. Nobody colluded with staff to own your shit. It was all player driven, just like everyone else in that war doing things. The Thryzn didn't focus the templar, it was actually a thryzn pc who said ooc'lly not to for realism sake. You'd know that, if you were there.
So, speak your piece, but do so with actual fucking truth.

No one ever said anyone got buffed. You can go back to my original post that started this whole thing about exactly what happened on our end and why staff apologized for fucking us over and wiping that clan.

Maybe it was three cavalry units I miscounted 4 in the five seconds I had before I died. Those cavalry and 12 thryzn/masterless.
One rag tag unit, one actual unit. A couple HG soldier NPCS and four Tuluki PCs. Super balanced. The Bashurit DEFINITELY needed to have full cavalry units and it totally makes sense that since we were already outnumbered a small tribal clan would have more NPC units than the largest military force of a city-state in the entire game.
Also, we didn't have a unit of half giants. We had two human PCs. One half giant PC. A Templar. We had three half giant NPCs. One rag tag unit. One plain unit.
The Masterless and Bashurit had twelve PCS, including half giants, muls, dwarves and a maxed witch. Then on top of that staff loaded in three cavalry units, while Tuluk - who supposedly has the largest military force in the game got two units.
There is no way as a staff member you could look at those odds and think that made sense on any level at all. Like... hello. Anyway, this is why staff apologized. That and forcing us to go engage in this. I mean, it's pretty clear this was a tilted shit show egged on by a staff member who was playing the IC and OOC side of things.
I think the point has been made.

It's still pretty crazy to me that they allowed this random, new tribe to have 3 'army' units. We didn't even get that much in the last war as Allanakis.
And anyone knows a half-giant NPC is worthless compared to some twinked out HG that's been sparring for months. I think the only valuable thing the Tulukis had was that half-giant unit, but still, group bonuses against one NPC will destroy that NPC, no matter how powerful it is.
The staff 100% drove the Tulukis into a wholesale slaughter.

Why would any fight in a war be balanced? You pick your battles, and you were forced to come back. That's on staff. That's not on you, not on thryzn or masterless, and you just said staff apologized for it. So why are you still coming for thryzn?
