My opinion is no. But maybe the player concensus is that staff would be more honest if they were logged.
And if staff actions are logged for it to be meaningful we would need monthly audits. Don't let them say they don't have time for this, they have infinite time.

I don't think a monthly audit is feasible. What would get logged? Would what is logged be in a format that it even matters (Wishes would be easy to look at and probably helpful though) I really hate this line of questioning I'm going into because staff commonly does it. You bring up anything, they ask 1400 questions and provide 0 solutions, and then settle on 'Well that means we just do nothing then ' and the problems persist. But I don't think this is the solution. A player-staff liaison that gets access to staffer knowledge and looks at situations would go far. No, one of the main leaders of the game being an 'HR person' doesn't count. I think staffers should be required to end every message, or have it happen automatically, with their name or a tag (Like Sha/Shab for Shabago, Shal/Shalo for Shalooonsh, etc) to better enforce that they aren't faceless. I don't even think that's the issue the issue is when do we do this? Every month for everyone? Why? If only if the staffer is called into question sure that's fine but just doing it just cause is a waste of time, even if they have all the time in the world.

The first big step is setting up a bash script to archive the runtime logs onto mounted /sda so that you have more than "this month's runtimes" and "last month's runtimes" to log dive for. It's a 10 minute exercise for a Compsci 101 student. Text compression can turn 40GB of text stream down to <100MB. Storage is not an obstacle. The Oracle cloud has 200GB+ always free storage. Nessalin chooses to not archive the runlogs because he wants to sabotage himself from performing due diligence to complaints beyond the runtime log window.

All staff character commands are logged (possibly all staff actions) but only a few people have access to this log. Most staff members don't know this. This is how they catch staff members doing crazy stuff like making magick rings and stashing them somewhere for their character to pick up later. <style></style>
