I was running under the assumption that gdbjohn is new around here and isn't a connoisseur of the Qwerty Post brand of shit yet.
I just really find the dialectical argument that spawned over the past few days among some of the newcomers to be amazingly faulty. The staff and the shadowboard community are not equal and opposing forces. If the thesis is somehow "staff are bad", the antithesis is not "the shadowboard community is bad" and the synthesis is definitely not "staff and the shadowboard community are both bad". Thinking this way just legitimizes people like qwerty because this is the argument they use to try and maintain some semblance of legitimacy.
If you're new here, just imagine the possibility that this community isn't everything you were told it was. Try to set your biases aside and read through it for yourself.

I like these forums out of curiosity and don't have much interest in partaking in vitriol. Qwerty posts about things currently going on staff side and he is privy to information that he sometimes shares that no other posters here have access to. He is a contributor. You could develop a habit to not get emotionally invested whenever people say things that you dislike especially when it's trivial or inconsequential

Sometimes he's flat out wrong, just as he probably sees me as sometimes flat out wrong. But that's what a conversation is. Sometimes not everyone agrees. I don't like GDBJOHN and his cancel culture, "You shouldn't be here" attitude. That that shit back to the GDB. |

qwerty isn't all that bad. sometimes he writes some shit that makes me think and other times he writes some shit that makes me cringe. just like anyone else that posts here.
the semi-anonymized armageddon discussion board feels like a weird fuckup and everyone involved is a special little piece of the mosaic.
