They accused her in the same paragraph. Difficult to appease someone by accusing her.
Why else would they do it? It's possible the staff are just genuinely incredibly easy to upset. Someone got upset writing it and said some dumb shit. A bit like when I called Nessalin a fucking pedo for leaping to the aid of someone who apparently did nothing wrong in the first place but still desperately needs a staff pile-on against the guy they did try and blame.
If they actually blamed you, you'd be banned, or karma docked, or whatever.
There is a person out there who is out to cause malicious damage to the game. It's not really that much a surprise. I have right this moment some dude circling around me posting stuff. Some people have the time for that, good for them.
That person posts fake reviews. Pretends to be staff in them. Posted something with my name. Accused Shalooonsh of sexual harassment, faked a request, but got caught on the fabrication.
It is within the realm of possibility that Kaitrenna is also one of those. Is it 100%? Probably not. There is a possibility that the person isn't kaitrenna, it's the dude pretending to be Shalooonsh.
But what to do? Ignore it all? I can ignore Dvorak, but I'm not dependent on anyone's approval. Hell, I can outtroll him. His trolling skill is mid apprentice ish. The mud can't do it. If it ignores accusations like that, lo and behold we have a Reddit thread about staff ignoring accusations of sexual harassment. Also giving full faith to people is also a bad idea. Maybe this is BS and the next one is BS, but the third one might be a real complaint. So no carte blanche faith.
So then, an investigation has to be made. Data is gathered. Ryn logs? Definitely not a newbie. Shalooonsh discord logs? No sign of the conversation. Is spoofing possible? Very. Hold on, IP match with another player? Tap the player, "Hi. Do you have anyone else playing in your house? Just some dude who tried the game once?" Result:Inconclusive. But it's still a clue. Ryn looks more and more like fake. Pretending to be brand new while most definitely playing like a seasoned player. Clearly someone is forming a troll post, but there is no actionable evidence against anyone.
Oh well. If Kaitrenna shows up again, let's rattle her a bit, see what shows up. It worked on the other attempt. Last attempt the "victim" was peer pressured to paste a request log and ended up pasting a log that was mechanically impossible. Giving actual evidence that the whole issue is fake. Obviously the person dissapeared into thin air soon after. Let's see if Kaitranna shows up again and let's something slip.
Kaitrenna shows up and approaches Shabago herself.
Shabago accuses her of multiplaying and posts the accounts with the same IPs. Note, they are not saying that the IP was the one who trolled her. They are saying that Kaitrenna and the other account are one and the same person.
Earlier before. Shabago somewhat preemptively told her they have an idea who did it (Thinking he identified her true account) and went to a producer with it. Who just pointed it out that it's a VPN IP and means little without other proof.
So how to get other proof?
They tell her she's multiplaying and that other player is banned. Not because he harassed her. But because he 'is' her.
If the guess was true, Kaitrenna player (potentially Nile) would log in soon after to check if banned. I don't know what happened, but whatever did, it did not accrue enough evidence to ban "anyone".
Once again.
Nowhere in that post will you see Shabago saying that Okthen was the person who harassed Kaitranna. But Shabago is accusing Kaitranna of being Nile. Dumbass admittedly, but by then the certainty of Kaitrenna being troll is high. Banning her is useless, much more useful for her to keep active and accidentally reveal her identify (Keep them talking).
Whatever happened. Identity never got revealed.
Then Nile looked for something to rage about, found something that came close enough, put more value in it then in the games DMs and ... Can't play anymore now. Just awesome. Congratulations. Have a cookie everyone.
