Anyone who hasn't looked already, I'd recommend two things:
Check out the huge amount of work that was put into the halflings before fiat came along and removed them from the game for irrational fear of copyright.
Also, check out the origins of Oash and Borsail, how Oash is the patron of the Guild, and how Borsail employed all manner of sorcery and magic to obtain its slave empire; then wonder why the Houses are pitiful shells of what they used to be.

I read the entry on Pearl, it's a bit hard to believe that they were so successful killing everyone she became involved with, and yet, couldn't manage to ice /her/.

As far as I know they did a few times but staff rez'd her.
I doubt they would talk about their rezzing though. Specially in the history parts

And early on everyone thought Donald Trump wasn't going to make it either. Just talking about Pearl. The player latr went on the be staff because.... I guess someone liked her from the very beginning. Trump, he's still trying to get on staff.
